Limited Lifetime Warranty

At Damned Designs, we stand behind the quality of our products. Each knife we create is built to last and comes with a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

What's Covered

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Structural integrity issues
  • Premature failure of locking mechanisms
  • Handle material defects
  • Blade steel defects not related to misuse

What's Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • Improper maintenance or storage
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Damage from exposure to extreme conditions
  • Cosmetic issues that don't affect functionality
  • Sharpening or edge maintenance

Warranty Process

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

  1. Contact our customer service team with a description of the issue and photos if possible
  2. Receive a Warranty Authorization (WA) number
  3. Ship the knife to our service center with the WA number clearly marked
  4. Our team will evaluate the knife and determine if the issue is covered under warranty
  5. If covered, we will repair or replace the knife at our discretion
  6. The repaired or replacement knife will be shipped back to you

Shipping for Warranty Service

Customers are responsible for shipping costs to send the knife to our service center. Damned Designs will cover the cost of return shipping for approved warranty repairs or replacements within the United States. International customers may be responsible for return shipping costs and any applicable customs fees or duties.

Knife Care & Maintenance

To ensure your knife remains in optimal condition and to maintain warranty coverage, we recommend following these care guidelines:

  • Clean your knife after use, especially after exposure to corrosive materials
  • Keep pivot points and mechanisms clean and properly lubricated
  • Store your knife in a dry environment
  • Use appropriate sharpening techniques to maintain the edge
  • Avoid using your knife for purposes it wasn't designed for
  • Periodically check and tighten any screws or fasteners
